Organizations Optical Society of America (OSA)  The mission of OSA is to promote the generation, application and archiving of knowledge in optics and photonics and to disseminate this knowledge worldwide.
SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering The International Society for Optical Engineering is dedicated to advancing scientific research and engineering applications of optical, photonic, and imaging solutions. SAS - The Society for Applied Spectroscopy The Society for Applied Spectroscopy is a nonprofit organization formed to advance and disseminate knowledge and information concerning the art and science of spectroscopy, and other allied sciences, to advance the professional standing and growth of the Society and its members, to coordinate cooperative endeavors of its individual members and sections, and to promote and maintain a close bond among its members. ASQ - The American Society For Quality By making quality a global priority, an organizational imperative, and a personal ethic, the American Society for Quality becomes the community for everyone who seeks quality technology, concepts, or tools to improve themselves and their world. CPO - The Coalition for Photonics and Optics The mission of the CPO is: "To further the scientific, technical and educational interests of the optics and photonics community." The CPO has eleven member organizations, representing a total of 30,500 optical scientists, engineers, and technicians and 513 U.S. optoelectronics companies. NIST - National Institute of Standards & Technology Founded in 1901, NIST is a non-regulatory federal agency within the U.S. Commerce Department's Technology Administration. NIST's mission is to develop and promote measurement, standards, and technology to enhance productivity, facilitate trade, and improve the quality of life. ASRG - Analytical Spectroscopy Research Group The Analytical Spectroscopy Research Group at the University of Kentucky is an organization dedicated to basic research in noninvasive chemical analysis, medical imaging, and technology development. |
