Americas Channel Sales Manager

Job Description

  1. The Americas Channel Sales Manager is a high profile, key contributor to the achievement of company revenue goals across a broad set of industries and a diverse customer base. As a senior member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving channel partner revenue across a number of key markets and application areas for Headwall’s hyperspectral and Raman imaging products.

  1. Principal sales management responsibilities include recruiting, training and managing the international reseller network to grow revenue in support of Headwall’s market focus:

    • Remote sensing

    • Advanced machine vision

    • Government/defense

    • Medical & biotech

The candidate will be expected to develop and execute sales programs & activities to build a strong reseller channel business and drive partner success including the generation of joint campaigns to an established base of customers, outbound activities to new key prospects, business planning & management with each partner and providing business and technical support necessary for Headwall and reseller partner sales success.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Demonstrable and quantifiable track record of successful channel sales management

  • Extensive experience with international reseller partners in South and Central America and Canadian regions

  • Positive sales history profitably selling high performance, high value product sets

  • Exceptional sales qualification skills to manage a high volume of inbound inquiries

  • Motivated, organized, accountable, competitive self-starter who enjoys working in a fast paced, technology growth environment

  • In depth technical knowledge of spectroscopy (spectral sensors and analytical instruments) and/or imaging technologies

  • Outstanding telephone and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong, detail-oriented professional writing and proposal development skills

  • A team player with a positive attitude

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively around the world 50-60% of the time


Education and Background:

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or advanced technical degree

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of industry sales experience

  • A minimum of 6-10 years of regional experience with reseller networks

  • Fluency in both English and regional language(s) is desired
