Strategic Account Sales Executive

Job Description

The Strategic Account Sales Executive is a high profile, key contributor to the achievement of company revenue goals across a broad set of industries and a diverse customer base.

Specific sales responsibilities include large OEM customers and strategic accounts in the remote sensing, machine vision, and medical & biotech markets. As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue across key application areas for Headwall’s hyperspectral and spectral instrumentation solutions. Sales activities include the generation of targeted campaigns to an established base of customers, outbound activities to key prospects, and cultivating new opportunities within established accounts.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Demonstrable and quantifiable track record of successful strategic account sales management

  • Ability to sell to both business managers & technical departments in key Fortune 500 accounts.

  • Ability to develop successful sales strategies to penetrate flagship industry accounts

  • Positive sales history profitably selling high performance, high value product sets with average sales value greater than $500,000

  • Exceptional sales qualification skills to manage a high volume of strategic inquiries

  • Competitive, self-starter who enjoys working in a fast paced, technology growth environment

  • In depth technical knowledge of spectroscopy (spectral sensors and analytical instruments) and/or imaging technologies

  • Outstanding telephone and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong, detail-oriented professional writing and proposal development skills

  • A team player with a positive attitude

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively around the world 25-50% of the time

Education and Background:

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or advanced technical degree

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of industry sales experience

  • Fluency in both English and regional language(s) is desired

  • Location preference will be in Bolton, Massachusetts
