Inside Sales Representative

Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative is a key contributor to the achievement of company revenue goals across a broad set of industries and a diverse customer base. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue across a number of key markets and application areas for Headwall’s hyperspectral sensors, Raman imaging products, and spectral instruments.

Specific account responsibilities include customers in remote sensing, machine vision, and medical & biotech markets.   As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving monthly revenue across a number of key application areas for Headwall’s hyperspectral sensors including Raman imaging products and spectral instrumentation solutions.

Primary Sales Activities Include

  • Respond to inbound inquiries from our web site and marketing initiatives.

  • Generation of targeted campaigns to an established base of customers,

  • Prospecting & outbound sales activities to key customer prospects,

  • Cultivating new opportunities within established accounts,

  • Development of customer quotations and proposals development

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Motivated, organized, accountable, competitive self-starter who enjoys working in a fast paced, technology growth environment

  • In depth technical knowledge of spectroscopy (spectral sensors and analytical instruments) and/or imaging technologies

  • Demonstrable and quantifiable track record of successful strategic account sales management

  • Positive sales history profitably selling  high value product sets

  • Exceptional sales qualification skills to manage a high volume of inbound inquiries

  • Outstanding telephone and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong, detail-oriented professional writing and proposal development skills

  • A team player with a positive attitude

Education and Background:

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or advanced technical degree

  • A minimum of 3 to 10 years of industry  experience

  • Location preference is based in Bolton, MA

  • Position requires US citizenship or Permanent Resident status
