Headwall MV.C NIR Shown at Vision 2022 at Messe Stuttgart

Headwall unveiled the MV.C NIR for hyperspectral imaging in the 900-1700 nm wavelength range at Vision 2022 in Stuttgart, the world's largest machine-vision expo. Also shown was the award-winning MV.X with embedded processing, bringing hyperspectral-imaging to more widespread use, increasing efficiency and allowing more accurate grading.

Headwall unveiled the new MV.C NIR for hyperspectral imaging in the 900 to 1,700 nm wavelength range. Also shown was the award-winning Hyperspec® MV.X VNIR with embedded processing power that brings hyperspectral-imaging technology to more widespread use, increasing efficiency, reducing risk, and allowing more accurate grading of a wide variety of products.

The perClass® booth was located right next to Headwall. In July, perClass became part of the Headwall Group. Until recently, utilizing hyperspectral imaging involved a time-consuming process of data acquisition, model development, and lengthy data analysis. perClass Mira® reduces complexity with an intuitive interface backed by advanced machine learning algorithms — dramatically expanding the addressable use cases for spectral imaging across numerous industrial markets.

VISION in Stuttgart is the world’s largest conference and exposition for machine vision components and systems and is usually a biennial event, but because of the pandemic, this event occurred in 2021 and 2022 before reverting to every 2 years starting in 2024.
